Knight Frank submits plans for affordable later living homes in Richmond

The proposed development at Howson Terrace, TW10 6RT, will provide a fully affordable housing scheme comprising 26 homes for residents aged 55 and over, offering a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments, alongside high-quality communal facilities designed to support independent living, social interaction and wellbeing.

Knight Frank led the preparation and submission of the planning application, working collaboratively with Hunters Architects to bring forward proposals that will help address the growing need for specialist housing for older people in the borough.

“The site sits within well-connected and established neighbourhood and hopefully once approved, will make a positive contribution to the area’s retirement living provision, while also bringing a vacant site back into beneficial use for the local community.”

The application was supported by Knight Frank's Seniors Housing team, having prepared a Senior Housing Needs Assessment to demonstrate the need for affordable senior living accommodation in Richmond.

The planning application is now under consideration by the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.
