His work is largely focused on delivering deep insights on individual organisations, and how their activities, business models, market coverage and strategies define what they need from their commercial real estate portfolios. He also carries out a variety of sector and market-level projects, utilising a range of datasets to provide informed insights on global real estate topics. His work supports a range of external and internal stakeholders, including a number of our agency and occupier services teams around the world.
Matt’s secondary specialisms include technology, workforce trends, current affairs and business news, sustainable buildings, and energy. He also heads the Commercial Insight team’s pro bono research programme, giving charities and good causes the insights they need to maximise their impact.
His principal external outputs include contributions to (Y)OUR SPACE content, including the fortnightly Talking Points papers and the seasonal Digest. His work has also featured in Knight Frank’s Quantifying Technology in Real Estate reports, including an essay on ‘Offices in the Age of Agentic AI’
