His methodology blends analytical rigour with creative thinking, underpinned by a deep understanding of rural economies and ecosystems.
His natural capital consultancy role covers the environmental and ecological aspects of land use, helping clients unlock the value of natural capital. He guides landowners through emerging opportunities in ecosystem services, such as carbon credits and biodiversity net gain, aligning environmental stewardship with financial resilience.
Beyond his professional work, Mark remains closely connected to nature through his volunteer efforts with The Greensand Trust, a conservation charity managing nature reserves across Bedfordshire.
