James is an experienced chartered rural surveyor and Partner in Knight Frank’s Rural Consultancy team. James leads the rural team in supporting corporate and institutional clients nationally while providing advice to a broad range of client types within the South and East regions.
James’s key client instructions are varied and include strategic estate management and unique projects. His expertise is wide-ranging having advised corporate clients with land on urban fringes throughout his career to date.
James is a business leader in Natural Capital, including Biodiversity Net Gain. He is a member of Knight Frank’s Nature Working Group as well as an ESG Ambassador. He represents Knight Frank within the thought-leadership focused Whitehall Group and is a Member of the Cambridge University Land Society.
James also enjoys a mentoring role within our Rural Consultancy team, being an APC Counsellor to several of the firm’s Graduate Surveyors.
