While Knight Frank France has, for a long time, operated in the Parisian residential market through an associate business, bringing this capability fully in-house is a strategic step forward as the firm enhances its presence in Paris and continues to grow across the wider French market.
With 15 years of experience in prime and super-prime real estate in Paris, Alison Ashby combines extensive market knowledge with an international vision. In her new role, Alison will provide strategic advice to Knight Frank France’s international clientele looking to buy and sell prime real estate in the Parisian market. Ashby is known for providing unrivalled client service, ensuring the utmost discretion and delivering exceptional properties to discerning buyers in Paris.
Initially located on Place Vendôme, at the headquarters of Knight Frank France, this new team will work closely with the firm’s other service lines – advising high-net-worth individuals on the sale and acquisition of luxury homes. It will offer an exclusive selection of prestigious properties, such as penthouses, mansions and branded residences, to Knight Frank’s global client base
"Globally, Knight Frank has always been a strong player in the residential market so establishing a residential department at Knight Frank in Paris is a logical step for us. In her new role, Alison will partner with the business to uncover high-net-worth clients interested in prime Paris assets and support those looking to broaden their investment portfolios," explains Vincent Bollaert, CEO of Knight Frank France.
Alison Ashby, Partner and Head of Knight Frank Residential in Paris comments: “I’m delighted to be leading Knight Frank France’s residential team in Paris at such an exciting time for the city’s prime property market. Having worked closely with Knight Frank for several years, I’ve seen first‑hand the strength of the brand, the quality of our global network and the trust our clients place in us. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of advising high‑net‑worth individuals on the acquisition of exceptional homes and investment assets across Paris, and I look forward to continuing to support clients as they navigate this dynamic and increasingly international market. I’m excited to build on our strong foundations in France and to help connect more clients with the opportunities this remarkable city has to offer.”
Mark Harvey, Head of Knight Frank’s International Residential Network said: “Establishing Knight Frank France’s Prime Residential team in Paris marks an exciting milestone for our business, and I’m delighted that Alison Ashby is leading this new venture. This expanded offering is essential for our international clients and Alison’s deep market expertise and exceptional client relationships make her the ideal person to spearhead it. Bringing this capability fully in‑house is a strategic step forward for Knight Frank in France as we enhance our presence in Paris and continue to grow more widely across France and Europe.”
This announcement forms part of Knight Frank’s wider international expansion programme across Europe, the US and the Caribbean, a highly targeted and ambitious growth strategy which will see Knight Frank strengthen its presence in key lifestyle and wealth markets. In Europe, Knight Frank France has plans to expand across the nation, exploring opportunities in the Alps and the South of France.
