Knight Frank deepens Italian footprint partnering with two new real estate agencies in Rome and Cortina D’Ampezzo
Knight Frank, the leading independent global property consultancy, has partnered with two new real estate agencies in Italy as it deepens its Italian footprint and continues to deliver on its ambitious international growth strategy.

Following Knight Frank’s recent announcement of its new partnership with Lincs Estate in Milan, the firm has now turned its attention to Rome, forming a new relationship with ReLiving, Rome’s leading prime real estate brokerage. In addition, Knight Frank has, for the first time, committed to the Italian Alps and is working on a preferred agency agreement with Abitare Cortina in Cortina D’Ampezzo with the aim that both agencies will become Knight Frank’s associates in the near-term.
Italy continues to be one of the leading European hubs for high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), driven by its favourable tax regime, global appeal and cultural heritage and Knight Frank remains at the forefront of the market where wealthy individuals are choosing to buy and sell prime real estate.
Founded in 2023 and headquartered in central Rome, ReLiving specialises in high-end residential sales. The firm, led by renowned real estate expert, Veronica Sagliaschi, has established a strong reputation for its personalised advisory and deep-rooted understanding of Rome’s most sought-after neighbourhoods. Its curated portfolio of 155 properties spans premium residences, heritage buildings and luxury redevelopment opportunities.
Veronica Sagliaschi, CEO of ReLiving, commented: “We are proud to have become Knight Frank’s preferred agency in Rome. Our mission has always been to offer tailored and insightful advice to clients seeking exceptional homes and investment opportunities in the capital. Partnering with Knight Frank enables us to elevate this approach by combining our local expertise with the reach of a global network. Rome is attracting growing interest from domestic and international buyers, and together we are well positioned to support clients navigating this vibrant and evolving market.”
Turning to the Dolomites, Cortina is entering a new phase of global visibility ahead of the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics starting this week. The combination of UNESCO-protected landscapes, accelerating infrastructure investment and critically limited supply has created exceptional conditions for prime residential demand. Knight Frank’s latest Alpine Property Report shows Cortina recorded a 10% annual price increase in the year to June 2025, ranking third in the Alpine Index. Prime prices currently stand between €19,500 and €21,500 per sq m – still considerably below other elite Alpine destinations such as St Moritz or Courchevel, highlighting significant scope for further appreciation.
Founded in 1984, Abitare Cortina has built a reputation as a trusted name in luxury real estate, driven by a passion for prestigious properties that spans more than four decades. Led by the founder, Marino Piccolotto and his sons Ivan and Erich, the group offers clients a complete, bespoke service with the highest standards of discretion and professionalism.
Marino Piccolotto, CEO of Abitare Cortina, commented: “We are delighted to have become Knight Frank’s preferred agency in Cortina. The 2026 Winter Olympics presents an extraordinary opportunity for investors and will put Cortina firmly on the global map. We are excited to work closely together and look forward to presenting some of Italy’s best alpine homes to Knight Frank’s global clientele.”
Mark Harvey, Head of International Residential at Knight Frank, said: “Knight Frank has embarked on an incredibly exciting international expansion programme across Europe, the US and the Caribbean. This growth strategy is both ambitious and highly targeted. We are strengthening our presence in key lifestyle and wealth markets, ensuring we can deliver an exceptional and consistent client experience wherever our clients need us. We are excited to be partnering with the very best real estate businesses in Rome and Cortina. Adding these two businesses to our Italian network bolsters our long-standing presence in the Italian market and ensures that Knight Frank is at the forefront of the real estate market and operating in the places that matter most to our clients.”
