Your property manual
Before you put the key in the door, there are a few things you need to sort out. We will guide you through the pre- and post-completion stages of buying a property and create a ‘property manual’ for you detailing all you need to know about your newly purchased property and the surrounding area. Then, to assist with your move and ongoing enjoyment of your property, we can also help with:
Removals
To help you move out of a property and get settled in your new home, we provide a comprehensive removals and/or project management service. We can also assist with cleaning, clearance and organising utilities and other services in your property.
Staffing/staff procurement
We advise on private staffing structures, staff employment concerns and carry out staff recruitment for owners of private residences and estates.
Property management
If you spend much of your time away from your property, or would like to take a step back from the day to day work so you can spend more time enjoying your property, we provide a full property and staff management service to give you peace of mind while you’re not there, including running a client account to pay bills and invoices on your behalf.
Consultancy

Who do I need to notify?
Our team has a very wide network of service providers. The more notice in advance the more organised your move will be. However, we do have the capacity and the ability to help out in last minute emergencies.
What if I'm moving abroad?
Our services reach other countries too. We have many pleased clients who have moved overseas. Our removals teams are highly equipped and up to date with the latest international transportation legislations.
When should I change my utilities?
Utility bill, Wi-Fi and Sky TV can only be set up as the client has exchanged. As by law the property needs to be in the name of the new owner or tenant to be able to do that.
How much does it cost to move?
Moves very much vary in price. It depends on the type of service. If you need help packing and unpacking, international moves, storage, insurance, additional cleaning and the size of the property being moved, we would send a removals surveyor to quote your household move free of charge.
Could I move without being there?
Our hands-on service means our clients can be on a vacation far away from home if they want to completely avoid the stress of the move. A Knight Frank consultant is assigned to make sure it goes smoothly while you are away.
