Removals & Storage

The removal process consists of packing all your belongings into boxes (precious items such as art go through a special boxing process), it’s then moved and unpacked at your new house. Switching or setting up utilities can be a chore. We’re here to take the load off your shoulders. Who do I need to notify?
Our Home Solutions team has a very wide network of service providers. The more notice in advance the more organized your move would be. However, we do have the capacity and the ability to help out in last minute emergencies.
What if I'm moving abroad?
Our services reach other countries too. We have many pleased clients who have had they homes moved overseas. Our removals teams are highly equipped and up to date with the latest international transportation legislations.
When should I change my utilities when moving?
Utility bill, Wi-Fi and Sky TV can only be set up as the client has exchanged. As by law the property needs to be in the name of the new owner or tenant to be able to do that.
How much does it cost to move?
Moves very much vary in price. It depends on the type of service. If the client needs help packing and unpacking, international moves, storage, insurance, additional cleaning and the size of the property being moved. We would send a removals surveyor to quote your household move free of charge.
Could I move without being there?
Our service allows our clients to be on a vacation far away from home if they want to completely avoid the stress of the move and a Knight Frank move consultant is assigned to make sure it goes smoothly and perfectly while the client is absent.
