James has 21 years of experience in real estate and is Head of the Lease Advisory service line in the Bristol Commercial office. His team is responsible for undertaking all lease advisory work in Knight Frank's Bristol and Cardiff offices.
James's work is focused principally on rent reviews and lease renewals, acting for landlords and tenants in negotiations and also expert witness work in relation to third-party proceedings. James also has considerable experience in Arbitration and Independent Expert determinations and is well versed with the court procedures relating to lease renewals. James was elected to the RICS President’s Panel of Independent Experts for Rent Review and Lease Renewal dispute resolution in 2017 and is also an RICS Registered Valuer.
James works closely alongside his colleagues in the Bristol and Cardiff Agency teams and regularly supports the Capital Markets team on sales and purchases.
