Living in Bath
Living in Bath is usually a lifestyle choice rather than a career aspiration. It is about trading hustle and bustle for beautiful architecture, safe and peaceful surroundings and cultural diversity in a small city which offers so much. Firstly Bath is easily accessed by rail from London Paddington (approx. 90 minutes and soon to be even less) It is also just a short drive from the M4 motorway at junction 18. The centre has recently undergone extensive regeneration with the new Southgate shopping arcade which includes big name shops including Apple and Debenhams and providing excellent underground parking for many vehicles.
The city also boasts a wide variety of restaurants, bars and nightlife and of course the world famous Bath Rugby club situated right in the centre at The Recreational Ground. Another great pull to the city is the excellent schooling which is available. There are four main private schools, The Royal High School, Kingswood, Prior Park and Monkton Combe all of which are very well thought of. Tthere are also several excellent state schools including Beechen Cliff and Hayesfield Girls school.
