Our core services are arranged within the following key areas:

Building surveying

Whether a single asset or portfolio, we provide a complete range of tailored building surveys – from pre-acquisition and technical due diligence through to defect analysis and diagnosis. In all cases, our reports enable you to make informed decisions based upon objective information. We also provide vendor's pack surveys which can be assigned to purchasers and their funders.

Dilapidations and exit strategy

Acting for landlords and tenants we provide pragmatic commercial advice on how best to manage dilapidations issues, both during a lease and at lease expiry. This includes the complexity of break options and dilapidation liability assessments through to lease terminations, the preparation of terminal schedules, negotiating settlements and contract administration of works.

We also act as expert witness where required and our in-house valuers can provide S.18 valuations.

Project monitoring

Acting for banks, funds and tenants we provide independent risk assessment and monitoring throughout a project lifecycle, measuring quality and progress against the stated objectives, protecting our clients' interests throughout.

Insurance reinstatement assessments

We regularly undertake building reinstatement cost assessments based upon full site inspection, for a wide range of building types including offices, hotels, logistics and industrial, educational and healthcare premises.

Contract administration - refurbishment, maintenance and repair

Ranging from fast track Cat. A office refurbishments through to ongoing maintenance and repair projects, we provide a full service that focuses on minimising costs, maintaining programme, monitoring quality and optimising the value of your property.

Planned maintenance programmes

For property owners and occupiers who have maintenance and repair obligations, we are able to provide budget projections for future expenditure. Our experience covers offices, education facilities, hotels, retail and industrial premises.

Working with both building owners and adjoining building owners we are able to act as surveyors in accordance with the Party Wall Etc Act 1996.
