After a stint with Japan Airlines, Amanda decided she wanted a job with less travel, and took a sales role for a serviced office in Singapore. Once she’d got to know the ins and outs of the flexible office world, she was spotted and recruited by Knight Frank in 2012.

In 2016, she moved to London to start up and lead Knight Frank’s office space team. Over the years, Amanda’s role has evolved into management but she still loves the day-to-day contact with clients.

She’s seen the market take off; on her first day, there were only two WeWorks in London. There’ll be 42 by the end of 2019.

Amanda is also an expert in Asian food.

“There’s a Singapore-Malaysian cafe next to Euston station called Roti King. It’s an underground hole-in-the-wall and the flavours are as close to home as I can get – I love it. I always get the roti canai (a flaky, buttery flatbread) and the nasi goreng (fried rice).”

While studying Geography at Exeter, Tom spent his summers interning at Knight Frank. As a budding agent, he completed an MSc in Real Estate, then kickstarted his career on a graduate scheme at a top commercial property firm.

After qualifying as a surveyor, he spent two years advising retail occupiers on their next moves.

Now, Tom loves speaking to businesses leaders about how their offices can help them thrive.

Tom is also an expert in South West London weekends.

"Having lived in London for five years now, I’ve become a big fan of its South West gems. My ideal weekend starts with an afternoon run in Battersea Park, followed by a few drinks at the Pear Tree or Gremios in Brixton. On Sunday, I’d play tennis with friends and then enjoy a roast, perhaps followed by a lazy stroll in Richmond Park."

North Londoner Francesca has always worked in property. She started her career with four years at Foxtons and then moved on to an office broker company before deciding she wanted to do something a bit different. Enthused by the ever more innovative buildings and the interesting people operating in the flexible office market, she joined Knight Frank in 2019.

Francesca is also an expert in Sunday strolls.

“I love the leafy north London classics: Kenwood, Hampstead Heath, Regents Park and Primrose Hill. But there’s a hidden gem tucked in the middle of Holland Park. It’s called Kyoto Garden – it’s a landscaped slice of Japanese zen with peacocks, waterfalls and springtime cherry blossom.”

Oliver’s career found its roots in retail agency after he graduated with a Bsc in Real Estate. He soon made the transition into the dynamic office agency world, specialising in the London market and its increasing appetite for flexible and managed office space.

When Oliver saw that Knight Frank’s Flexible Office Solutions service was expanding, he knew that the opportunity to bring his expertise to such a talented team was one he didn’t want to miss, and joined the team in 2021 as a London tenant agent.
He loves getting to know his clients; what they do, how they work, the industry they’re involved in and what they’re looking for, so he can ascertain their unique needs and find the office space that’s the perfect fit for them.

Oliver is also an expert in London restaurants.

‘’I’ll always take the opportunity to eat somewhere new. Whether that’s a little Sicilian family-run restaurant in SW15 or a quirky pop-up in E2 – I’m always keen. Restaurants aside, I’m also a big rugby fan and a very average golfer!’’
