Winchester in 60 secondstoggle-icon

The city where the foundations of modern England were laid, and its first capital stood, few places can rival the eminence and charm of Winchester. With its strong community, culture, top-rated schools – not least the prestigious Winchester College – the city is popular with professionals and young families moving out of London in search of the best of both worlds. Ancient monuments and historic buildings dot Winchester's skyline, but it's down on the ground where the city comes into its own. A cosmopolitan environment that’s close to rural surroundings, the city is fringed with green spaces, and sits neatly between two National Parks – the South Downs and the New Forest – each with their own unique appeal. Winchester also enjoys excellent connections with the rest of the country, with fast rail links to London and the south coast, making for easy seaside escapes to the Solent and the Isle of Wight, or Bournemouth and the Jurassic Coast. The city’s rich cultural life extends from its renowned theatre and arts scene to its independent shops and award-winning restaurants – all contributing to community that feels both historic and forward-looking.

Recently purchased a property that was fairly complex in nature due to the relocation of two families from a town in Essex to Hampshire . The property was in unfamiliar territory as it was rural with land, we had moved from a town environment . George Clarendon although a partner in the business was completely hands on throughout the whole transaction . Giving constant updates, advice and even contactable on his day off ! Quite frankly without him it wouldn’t have gone through .Other staff I spoke to were polite and always tried to assist. I recommend this branch in Winchester .

Earlier this year, I sold a property with the Winchester office of Knight Franck. From the first meeting, I was very impressed with Ed and George's professionalism and their friendly manner. The managing agents echoed this when they met separately, commenting also on their politeness. I felt very supported and guided well throughout. It was clear how experienced George is and I greatly valued his advice. A sale was achieved very quickly. I am very happy to recommend to anyone considering an agent. I couldn't have been more impressed.

I cannot thank Lottie Lambert enough for all her help and guidance with the purchase of my new house. Throughout all the ups and downs, she was the calm in the storm. Her experience and tenacity helped overcome issues, and her good humour and commitment to the sale enabled me to buy my dream home.

We bought our new home through Knight Frank and I can’t thank them enough. We had a rollercoaster of a move due to losing our buyers twice but when our stress levels peaked, Knight Frank was calm and reassuring. When solicitors and other agents started to drag, Knights Frank’s team kept things moving. Thanks Lottie and Rachael.

I am grateful to the Winchester office of Knight Frank for their assured guidance and advice as we have just secured exchange on our new home. I met Perry at a number of viewings, she was charming, kind with her thoughts and added very helpful perspective. Rachael and Lottie guided the process very effectively and Ed was assured in his guidance and advice and certainly helped nudge the deal forward. Thank you team.

The Winchester office of Knight Frank could not have been more helpful and supportive throughout the whole experience of selling our home. They achieved over the asking price and kept us fully informed at every stage. We were delighted with them.

I chose Knight Frank because I felt most comfortable talking to Ed, and he gave a straight forward explanation of the procedure. Lottie was a delight to deal with, always cheerful and helpful, welcoming on the phone and in branch, organising the house magnificently for photography when I was too ill to attend. Our house sold quickly once on line, and Ed dealt deftly and efficiently with advice steering us through the pros and cons of accepting first offers, offers at the asking price, improved offers and gazumping offers, all of which happened in a very short space of time and involved phone calls at crack of dawn and in the evening. All done and dusted with our ideal buyers now living in our beloved family home. Than you Knight Frank.

George Clarendon from Knight Franks dealt with our purchase. We didn’t have a straight forward transaction and must have tested his negotiation skills and diplomacy quite a bit! We’ve been impressed with his professionalism and his communication throughout the purchase.

I have to say the service we have received from the team at Knight Frank has been second to none, professional, proactive, and also personable. Edd was great throughout the process from start to finish - Rachel Hancock was excellent and very proactive on the sale of our home. I would not hesitate to recommend Knight Frank Winchester and certainly use them again should the need arise.
