Our Early Careers Programmes

Our two-year graduate programme of four six-month rotations will give you exposure, experience, training and support so that, whatever skills and perspectives you bring, your potential will be amplified.  Our programme is designed to provide you with everything you need to confidently launch a career in real estate and is unique in its structure that unifies both residential and commercial rotations within one programme. This gives you an unparalleled breadth of opportunities and allows you to explore a diverse range of projects.

As a graduate, you’ll be working towards your professional qualification as a surveyor and we welcome applications from students with degrees in any discipline as well as degrees accredited by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). The two routes available to candidates are:

Knight Frank 2020 Graduate Programme (RICS accredited degree route)

This opportunity is open to undergraduates in their final year of a RICS accredited property degree and postgraduate students who have or who are completing a RICS accredited conversion course or masters.

Knight Frank 2020 Graduate Programme (Non-RICS accredited degree route)

This opportunity is open for graduates in their final year of study in any discipline.  Our programme is designed to support you through a RICS accredited conversion course or masters as you work towards your Assessment of Professional Qualification (APC) and ultimate qualification as a Chartered Surveyor.

The Knight Frank 2020 Graduate Programme will commence in September 2020 and applications open on Monday 28th October.

Please note that CVs can only be submitted once the application window opens, and if you would like to be considered for both our regional programmes as well as our London programme, you must submit separate applications to both.

Our application and interview process:

Online application:

Upload your CV, answer two key questions and complete our RARE registration form. You’ll be required to submit your CV and your answers to the following two questions:

- Why have you chosen the Knight Frank Graduate Programme? [250 words]

- What’s your favourite building and why? [250 words]

Video interview:

You’ll be invited to complete a series of questions via a pre-recorded video interview in November. There will be five questions, three of which will be provided to you ahead of the interview for you to prepare an answer in advance, and two of which will be asked on the day.

These questions will be asked to you by some of our Partners, and you’ll have up to two minutes per question to answer.

Face-to-face video interview call:

This is the penultimate step in the process. You’ll be invited to book a time slot to speak to a member of our Early Careers team, who will conduct a 30-minute competency-focused interview with you in December. This will also be a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you might have about Knight Frank and the graduate programme.

Assessment centre:

We will host you at our London headquarters in January for a day of teamwork, networking and interviews. You’ll be able to meet other applicants and speak with our wider team, graduates who are currently on our programme and some of the Partners at Knight Frank.

We’re dedicated to seeing you fulfil your potential at Knight Frank so we take learning and development seriously. You’ll be enrolled onto our training programme to become a chartered surveyor and we’ll support you in your journey to completing the prestigious Assessment of Professional Competence (APC).
