Letting in Richmond
Richmond is one of the most attractive and sought after locations in the UK, for a number of reasons including; the famous Richmond Park where free roaming deer can be seen in their natural habitat; the stunning stretch and wonderful views of the River Thames; the beautiful Green located in the heart of Richmond; and the first class schooling choices available.
Richmond is extremely popular with families relocating from abroad, as well as the younger professionals, who are all highly attracted to Richmond’s peaceful setting and being within such a short reach of Central London.
The area has a fabulous selection of rental properties ranging from studio apartments, Victorian conversions and beautiful larger Edwardian family houses, to a selection of new builds and gated developments.
Richmond is located just 8 miles South West of Central London and has fantastic transport links with access to London Underground’s District Line and train services to Waterloo in less than 20 minutes
There are some excellent state and independent schools locally such as King’s House, Old Vicarage School and The Vineyard School. The German School in Ham and Marymount in Kingston also offer international education.
Richmond is a friendly and lively centre with excellent facilities including numerous shops and boutiques, pavement cafes and bars, charming pubs and sophisticated restaurants serving top class international cuisine. With so much history and heritage, wildlife and leisure activities, Richmond has something for everyone.
The River Thames is a major feature of Richmond. Running through the heart of the Borough it winds its way for 21 miles allowing for some beautifully positioned riverside homes with fabulous river views.
The Borough also offers up some of the most attractive green open spaces within London including a number of Royal Parks, the most notable of which is the famous 2,300+ acres of Richmond Park. Home to large herds of red and fallow deer, the gated park was designated as a National Nature Reserve in 2000 and is a great place to enjoy horse riding, polo, golf, running and cycling.
