Rupert is a Proprietary Partner of Knight Frank who has been in the industry since 1989 and with the firm since 2000 when he joined the London agency business in Knightsbridge. He was Department Head there from 2013 – 2017 advising a mix of private clients, prime developers, together with the key Estates at Grosvenor, Cadogan and The Wellcome Trust. Rupert was at the epi-centre of the emerging Super Prime market in the early 2000s led by market moving developers including Finchatton, Colhill Spink, Candy & Candy and Highlife Developments. From 2001 to 2010 Rupert advised Julia Peyton-Jones and the Trustees of the Serpentine Gallery on the sale of their annual architecturally commissioned Summer Pavilion that has become home to London’s leading social season event at in Kensington Gardens.

In October 2017 Rupert moved to the firm’s headquarters at 55 Baker Street to Head the Prime Central London Developments business. This is a market leading residential team who provide a full suite of consultancy, marketing and sales strategy to a range of clients. Clients include listed businesses including British Land, to sovereign wealth backed schemes including De Vere Estates together with the market leading London based development firms including Native Land and Ronson Capital Partners.

Rupert regularly provides expert commentary on the key drivers and trends in the prime residential markets, frequently appearing in The Times, Financial Times and Bloomberg.
