Barnsbury is a leafy residential area to the west of Upper Street typified by elegant Georgian and early-Victorian terraces and attractive garden squares such as Gibson Square, popular due to its close proximity to Upper Street and Thornhill Square, a little further to the west with its attractive planting and children’s playground.
