Living in Grove Park

The Grove Park area of Chiswick is predominantly focused on the family market with many choosing this area for the excellent schools and the large gardens that houses here offer. Chiswick Mainline Station takes commuters into Waterloo and the A4 offers easy access to London and Heathrow Airport.

This section of Chiswick is below the A4 and sits between the riverside locations of Strand on the Green and Chiswick Mall.

The green open spaces of Chiswick House and Duke’s Meadows cover a large section of Grove Park offering local residents an abundance of sporting activities on their doorstep. Duke’s Meadows occupy land formerly owned by the Duke of Devonshire. In the 1920s, it was purchased by the local council, who developed it as a recreational center. A promenade and bandstand were built, and the meadows are still used for sport with a rugby club, football pitches, hockey club, several rowing clubs and a golf club. In recent years a local conservation charity, the Dukes Meadows Trust has undertaken extensive restoration work on this wonderful local amenity.
