_Knight Frank sells Hilton Bracknell for £17.5m
The purpose-built hotel consists of 215 bedrooms, 10 meeting rooms, a bar, restaurant, health club with treatment rooms and approximately 150 car parking spaces within the heart of Bracknell, Berkshire.
Situated next to Bracknell Forest and 20 minutes from Reading town centre, the hotel is close to a number of key attractions such as Ascot Racecourse and Legoland, generating a demand for overnight accommodation in the area.
Additionally, Bracknell is a significant business and technology hub in the South East, attracting companies such as Dell, Hewlett-Packard and Eli Lilli, resulting in a substantial corporate demand for hotels in the town.
Along with well-connected links between the M3 and M4, it is located two miles from the nearest railway station. It presents the opportunity for large functions featuring seven meeting and conference rooms, with the largest room accommodating 250 delegates.
Previously operating under the Hilton brand, a surrender was agreed of the lease in May 2021 in line with Hilton’s asset light strategy.
Henry Jackson, Head of Hotel Agency at Knight Frank said: “We are delighted to have concluded the sale of Hilton Bracknell on behalf of Tabamara Ltd, highlighting the demand for prime hotel assets in prominent locations within the UK. With further easing of restrictions imminent, we have been experiencing strong competition for these high-quality hotel assets and expect this to only increase in the coming months."
