This week we launch our first podcast: Intelligence Talks.
Each week Anna Ward, Senior Residential Analyst, will be joined by experts from across the property industry to hear their take on everything from the impact of Covid-19 on residential development in London, to where international buyers are choosing to invest.
This podcast breaks down the news and delves into the intelligence behind the headlines.
In the debut episode, Anna takes a look at the impact of Coronavirus on the UK housing market, and crucially, what action the government could take to aid its recovery, post lockdown.
Our Global Head of Research, Liam Bailey, first discusses the benefits and drawbacks of forecasting during a pandemic and how the property industry has adapted to the current crisis. From virtual viewings to desktop surveying, we hear that while the market may be slowing, deals are still being done.
Simon Gammon, Managing Partner at Knight Frank Finance, next explains how the mortgage market has adapted to life in the time of Covid-19 and offers his advice on where to turn if you're now stuck in the house buying process.
