Fit for the 21st century, this private estate blends classic and contemporary design elements into a luxury new development in the heart of Surrey. A collection of houses, townhouses and apartments offer a private, rural escape within 57 acres of woodland.

Developed by Royalton Residences, known for creating some of England’s most magnificent homes, the residences are a result of over 10 years of conceptualising, planning and crafting.

The architecture, designed by the London-based, renowned period architects Julian Bicknell and Associates, along with the celebrated interior designer Louise Bradley, takes inspiration from the 17th century up until today.

The houses incorporate classic brick and timber treatment from the Queen Ann period while the clean finish of the Regency is combined with brick and stucco, epitomised in mid-Victorian architecture.

Those looking to immerse themselves in nature will enjoy the layout of each household; large open-plan spaces with vast views of the estate and easy access to the large gardens means greenery is always at the doorstep.

Remnants of urban life, like roads and car parks, are kept to a minimum to allow residents an uninterrupted and immersive experience of the countryside.

While winding woodland walks and picnics in the gardens are always options for residents, there’s also three tennis courts for those looking for a serve.

If you prefer splashing about, there’s an indoor swimming pool and spa, as well as several restaurants and bars, a tailored concierge service and 24-hour security. Residents sit on the doorstep of world-famous equestrian events at Ascot or Guards Polo Club.

If you prefer golf clubs to galloping, then Wentworth’s nearby and to top it all off, there’s Michelin-starred dining at the edge of the Thames.

Over 800 years ago, King John signed the Magna Carta, meaning ‘Great Charter’, on these very grounds.
