3 Hardman Street, at the heart of the premier business district of Spinningfields, is the first building in the city to benefit from the technology that is revolutionising the way businesses interact with their buildings and each other.

Through the portal, 3 Hardman Life occupants can enjoy services such as dry cleaning, catering, floristry, free yoga classes, a regular food market, retail pop-ups and taxi booking discounts, with exclusive events, competitions and partnerships including monthly community drinks, lunch-and-learn sessions and a new pizza store also on offer.

More than 1,000 staff signed up in the first week.

Knight Frank partner and head of Property Asset Management in Manchester, Elaine Mc Clean, said: “We already work with Equiem on a number of buildings in London and wanted to bring that high level of customer experience to Manchester.

“3 Hardman Street is occupied by many high profile corporate firms and we have specifically designed the offer for the building to encourage interaction, be that through special events, classes or meeting for a coffee. We believe that great service, building amenity, hospitality and community are key factors in occupiers’ current space requirements.

“The customer and workplace experience is a top priority at Knight Frank, and this new property technology is just one of the ways we work closely with landlords and tenants to create spaces where people and businesses thrive.”

3 Hardman Street is the first property in Manchester to benefit from this technology and marks Equiem’s first launch in the North of England, having entered the UK market just over a year ago. The firm is already contracted to roll out its platform across more than 5.5 million sq ft of prime commercial space in the UK.

Bronny Wilson, General Manager Operations for Equiem in the UK, commented: “It has been a privilege to roll out the Equiem experience at one of the UK’s most significant office buildings outside London.

“Knight Frank has already seen first-hand the significant role our technology plays in creating bustling communities and providing services that enrich occupants’ lives. We are pleased to have partnered with them again here at 3 Hardman Street and hope that this will be the first of many more launches for us in Manchester.”
