Residents will benefit from living within a hugely sought after area of regeneration, thanks to the vibrant mix of public, residential and commercial space within Shoreditch Village. The eclectic range of cafés, restaurants and other retailers that epitomise the creative Shoreditch culture will be on their doorstep.

For those commuting to work, The Eight is also within easy reach of the City, London Bridge, King’s Cross, Canary Wharf and the West End. This means that residents can benefit from Shoreditch living at its best whilst enjoying an enviable work/life balance.

The Eight is made up of a mixture of two and three bedroom flats ranging from 973 to 1,334 sq ft. with prices starting from £995 per week. The interiors are stylish and bright and each has a spacious reception room with floor to ceiling windows, polished concrete walls and a fully equipped open plan kitchen. They also have private balconies, providing outside space in a prime City location. They are all finished to a very high standard and come fully furnished.

Jennifer King-Neary, head of Knight Frank’s Aldgate lettings office, said: “This is the ultimate in modern living at the heart of East London. The apartments have been beautifully designed and offer residents everything they could want from shops and restaurants to relaxation as well as an easy journey into the City and central London. This development offers people a lifestyle, not just a place to live.”

Dominic White, Managing Director of Shoreditch Village, said: “The unveiling of The Eight marks the latest step in our vision to deliver a vibrant public space. Residents will benefit from a retail mix of new and emerging brands, as well as being within ‘walk-to-work’ proximity to the array of sectors that Shoreditch is known and shaped by.”

Shoreditch Village is a 150,000 sq ft mixed-use and public realm scheme situated in the heart of London’s E1, and bordered by Holywell Lane, King John Court, and New Inn Yard. In addition to The Eight, it consists of a 216-bedroom citizenM hotel, and three retail units alongside a new restaurant building.

The site was historically a Victorian timber yard, and is owned by Dominic White and Andrew Hall, whose families purchased the land in the 1970s as a storage facility for their fit-out business. Phase 2 of the development was sold to Brockton Capital in 2016 which, once complete, is expected to provide around 50,000 sq ft of warehouse-style office space, 20,000 sq ft of flexible retail space, and a street market, all surrounded by an open and inviting, south-facing public realm. Development of this phase will commence in 2018, with completion scheduled for 2020.

Shoreditch Village is located just a short walk to Shoreditch High Street (Zone 1: Overground) and Liverpool Street (Zone 1: Hammersmith & City, Circle, Metropolitan, and Central lines) stations.
