About the area
Snuggled away in the quiet village of Droxford sits a home with a huge history behind it. Once serving as Droxford Station, built in the early 1900s as part of the Meon Valley Railway, if walls could talk, then we're sure this property would have plenty of tales to tell. A couple of famous faces to visit this site include that of Winston Churchill and General Eisenhower who met on the tracks that once ran through the gardens of this converted station to discuss the historic Normandy landings of 1944.
As well as its unique history, the location of this property sets it apart, a picturesque area of Hampshire that is greatly desired. Not far from the south coast with links to the Isle of Wight, the location of Droxford is perfect for those that love the countryside with proximity to the sea. Droxford village itself is an easy distance to Winchester which holds an abundance of high street shops, restaurants, cultural events and great markets.

On the ground floor is the drawing room, formerly the main station waiting room, with oak panelled vaulted ceiling, dual aspect and a log burning stove.
The family room (ladies waiting room) also has a fireplace with stove and the study, originally the ticket office, retains the booth and cabinets from its operating days.
