Compensation Claims

The Valuation & Consultancy Department deal with a range of compensation claims arising from Compulsory Purchase largely for land acquired for road improvements, rights of way and other Government / Local Authority uses. Claims are on behalf of owners / occupiers in assessing the diminution in the Market Value as a result of the scheme.

In addition, we have assessed blight claims arising from rights of way, aircraft and the right to roam legislation.

Building surveys and Home Buyers Reports

Building Surveys and RICS Homebuyer Reports are carried out usually prior to the purchase of a property. Homebuyer Reports are suitable for smaller or average size houses and flats, whilst Building Surveys are more specialised period properties.

Building Surveys and Homebuyer Reports may be instructed at the same time as a Bank Valuation to ensure a speedy turnaround.
