Paddy Pritchard-Gordon
Paddy joined Knight Frank in 2001 and is responsible for the sale of country property in both East Anglia and Ireland. Originally from Newmarket in Suffolk, Paddy has strong family links with the racing world and before joining Knight Frank worked in Ireland where he also has strong family connections.
James Walker
James worked extensively throughout Hampshire where he was brought up before joining Knight Frank’s Country Department and the East Anglian and Irish team. He has experience in selling residential property both in the country but also in London and works closely with Paddy providing clients with a wide range of skills.
Philippa Stewart
Having left Northumberland, Pip entered the property industry in Edinburgh before moving to London and joining Knight Frank in 2000. She has extensive experience in both estate and house sales. Pip also works for Robert Fanshawe and Felicity Walker assisting the Equestrian team.
Robert Fanshawe
As well as concentrating on equestrian properties, Robert is in charge of the sale of Irish property. He visits this country regularly and works occasionally in our Dublin office.
Central Team
Rupert Sweeting
Rupert was brought up and educated in the Cotswolds and Oxfordshire, attended Cirencester and now lives in the Buckinghamshire\Oxfordshire borders. As a result he is exceptionally well placed to head up our central team specialising in the sale of large country houses North of the M4.
Bruce Tolmie-Thomson
Bruce has worked at Knight Frank in the Country Department for 10 years. Having also run our Exeter office, and worked in our Farms and Estates team, Bruce concentrates on the Central Team.
Toby Milbank
Toby has 7 years experience in the country market. He moved to Knight Frank in 2004 having spent 5 years working for a competitor in Berkshire. Toby specialises in the sale of large country houses in Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Gloucestershire, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Yorkshire. Toby was brought up in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside where he is still strongly connected.
Christopher Bailey
After a career in the Army, Christopher has been specialising in the sale of country property at Knight Frank and works closely with Toby Milbank.
Suzanna Floyd
Suzie provides a high level of support to all members of the Central Team ensuring the smooth running of the team to the benefit of our clients and their properties.
South West Team
George Hyde
George comes originally from Hampshire and attended Cirencester before joining a regional land agency firm in Berkshire. Having qualified he joined Knight Frank in 2000 and has been based in the Country Department ever since. Starting in the South West team as a negotiator, he now the Partner in charge of our South West team focusing on Berkshire, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Avon, Somerset, Devon and Cornwall. George has responsibilities for running house sales for our clients in this area and liaising with our 8 Regional offices.
Edward Thomson
Edward Thomson is an Associate Partner and is part of the South West team, working closely with George Hyde dealing with the top end of the market throughout the south west. He has worked in the Country House Department, originally as an applicant manager, for the last 4 years and has experience dealing with all aspects of country house sales and recently handled a number of high profile sales. Edward is also looking after key Waterfront sales from London.
Alexander Murray
Alex joined Knight Frank in July 2007, having previously worked at Foxtons. He assists George and Ed selling property in the South West.
Sophie Lewis
Sophie provides a high level of support to all members of the south west team ensuring the smooth running of the team to the benefit of our clients and their properties.
Farms Team
Clive Hopkins
Clive heads up the Farms and Estates Team and has 20 years experience at Knight Frank. He is responsible for the sale and purchase of farms and estates primarily over £5m. His knowledge of the market at this level is unparalleled.
Alastair Paul
Having qualified as a chartered surveyor with an independent firm of land agents in Suffolk, Alastair joined Knight Frank to work closely with Clive Hopkins specialising in the purchase and disposal of large farms and traditional country estates thought-out England and Wales.
Claire Duthie
Claire joined the Farms and Estates Team in 2003 having previously worked as a land agent for 6 years. She is responsible for the sale of Farms and Estates up to £5m throughout England and Wales.
Tom Townshend
Tom joined the Farms & Estates Team in 2006 and works with Clive on national estate sales. He also assists Claire with the sale of farms as he is a qualified Rural Surveyor and worked in estate management between 2003 and 2006.
Robert Fanshawe
After the Army and Cirencester, Robert has been involved with equine business and horses for over 17 years. He specialises in selling Equestrian properties nationwide within the Farm and Estates team with a first class reputation throughout the equine and racing world. In addition, Robert handles the sale of Irish properties for the country team.
Felicity Walker
Felicity works for the Equestrian team assisting Rob and will also be selling property in Ireland alongside our KF Dublin office.
Emma Parkes
Emma joined the Country Department in March 2007. Prior to this she worked for Stenham Asset Management in the property fund as the Team Administrator. Emma graduated from Cirencester in 2005 with a degree in Property Agency and Marketing.
North Surrey & South East Team
James Cleland
James joined Knight Frank 12 years ago and worked for 10 years in the Home Counties, particularly the North Surrey market. He was then headhunted to work for a national competitor opening an office for them in Surrey. After 2 years he decided to return to Knight Frank in order to take up the challenge of establishing our North Surrey team within the National Country Department. This is a team with specific responsibility for focusing on the unique market that is made up in the North & North West Surrey, providing advice to owners of houses up to £10 million and servicing a national and international purchaser base.
Edward Shaw
Edward commenced his career in estate agency at the age of 17, juggling university work with the selling of properties in the Ascot and Virginia Water area where he was brought up. He joined Knight Frank in 2005 having secured a degree in property agency and marketing. Edward devotes his considerable energy towards looking after clients and applicants who have a specific focus on the North Surrey area.
Peter Edwards
Peter joined Knight Frank in 2004 as part of the South East team. He is now responsible for all aspects of marketing/ advertising and the sales process of houses in the Surrey, Sussex and Kent region. He also has a unique insight and expertise into property valuation and sales in the Channel Islands.
James Freeman
James joined the Country Department in 2004 as a negotiator in the South East team specialising in the sale of houses in Surrey, Sussex and Kent between £2 million - £5 million. He has strong family roots in Hampshire and having left University came to work in central London.
Lucinda Crabbe
Lucinda has 4 years experience supporting and assisting the members of the South East team including north Surrey. She acts as a valuable liaison between team members, our clients and our regional offices.
National Team
Andrew Hay
Andrew joined Knight Frank 25 years ago and has worked for the firm in Scotland, Ireland and England. He now has the responsibility for all country house sales over £6 million throughout the United Kingdom.
James Crawford
James comes from a farming background in Somerset. With 21 years experience at Knight Frank, he originally worked in the Estates team and was head of the Agricultural Valuations Department, before moving into house sales. He now focuses solely on the sale of country houses in excess of £6 million on a national basis and has been involved in the sale of many of the country’s most important houses.
Will Matthews
Will is originally from Wiltshire where his family farm. As part of his degree he wrote a ground breaking dissertation on the conversion of rural buildings. Will works with Andrew and James managing sales at the top of the market and looking after buyers.
Alex Newall
Alex works closely with James on property sales in excess of £6m and has specific responsibility for coordinating the flow of property information with our Moscow office and meets with all Russian buyers entering the country market.
Tabitha Wharton
Tabitha plays a vital role within the team coordinating and supporting James, Will and Alex. She is also the Total Image Manager for the Country Department, responsible for maintaining the highest standards of presentation of our clients properties.
