Where to go out in Moseley
Moseley has a great selection of take-aways offering cuisine from every corner of the globe. Notable restaurants include La Plancha Tapas Bar, The Cross Café Bar, Sabai Sabai and Ponte Di Legno. Indian restaurants of note are Deolali and Kababish. There are various chain pubs as well as fashionable bars such as The Jug of Ale and The Fighting Cocks as well as more traditional public houses such as The Prince of Wales or The Patrick Kavanagh.
Local band Ocean Colour Scene flourished in the mid 1990s with songs such as ‘The Riverboat Song’, inspired by locations in Moseley. Their most successful album was ‘Moseley Shoals’.
