Fulham is one of London’s most expensive, sought-after residential areas. It is close to the amenities, shops and restaurants of Chelsea and has excellent access and transport links to the rest of London. History
By the 18th century Fulham had gained a rather louche reputation as an area of debauchery, prostitution and gambling. It was a solidly working-class area throughout the first half of the 20th century but was extensively renovated towards the end of the century
