London, UK – Knight Frank has substantially strengthened its London network with the appointment of Charles Leigh as a partner for the London residential development division of the company. Charles will create a link between Knight Frank’s residential development team in Brook Street, W1, and all of the prime central London offices – Sloane Avenue, Mayfair, Chelsea, Kensington, Notting Hill and St Johns Wood.
Charles, aged 37, has 17 years’ experience of the prime Central London property market. He has principally been involved in top-end residential development, having worked for Spink Property, specialising in high quality refurbishment and new build projects within the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea. Charles brings with him extensive experience and expertise in property acquisitions, sales and private-client consultancy work, having been involved with many of the capital's most prestigious and high-value houses and apartments.
Patrick Ramsey, head of the residential division at Knight Frank comments: “Charles’ appointment is an exciting step for Knight Frank, as this new role will create an important link between our leading prime central London offices and our pre-eminent residential development division. This appointment forms part of our ongoing strategy to further expand our offering to our clients, as we will be pulling together the expertise of different parts of the firm and key developments will be promoted across our entire London network thus maximising the sales and marketing potential.
“We have very ambitious plans for Charles and his role at Knight Frank. He will be based in Knight Frank’s Sloane Avenue office but will be regularly visiting our residential development team in Brook Street, the One Hyde Park sales office and all of our other sales offices. He will also be communicating with our overseas network and working closely with our international desk operation based in London. Charles’ long term role will see him involved in all of the new developments in prime Central London where properties are priced over £5 million. His current priority is the much acclaimed London development, One Hyde Park.”
Charles comments on his appointment: “Prime Central London is currently witnessing some of the largest, most exciting, and high-value residential developments in its history, most notably One Hyde Park, Lots Road, and Chelsea Barracks. This is an exciting role, and I look forward to representing Knight Frank on these premier schemes.”
