Property for Sale in Bermuda

Located in the North Atlantic Ocean, east of South Carolina, Bermuda consists of approximately 138 islands, and is famous for its pink sandy beaches and cerulean blue oceans. Bermuda is the oldest remaining British overseas territory and the historic town of St. George is a designated World Heritage Site. Following 160 years of immigration from the Portuguese islands, 10% of Bermuda’s population is of Portuguese decent, so the islands have two official languages, Portuguese and English.

Climate

With an average temperature of 20 degrees Celsius in the winter, and 30 degrees in the summer, Bermuda usually offers mild weather all year round.

History of the area

Bermuda watercolours and hand-carved cedar sculptures are unique to Bermuda culture. Bermuda also hosts an annual International Film Festival

The average price of a Bermuda home is $1,600,000. Condominiums are available from $500 per square foot, while luxury apartments can exceed $1000 per square foot.

Access

Direct flights are available to Nassau airport from London Heathrow, and the islands have two further international aiports at Grand Bahama Island and The Exumas.
