Geordie’s Magnificent Endeavour
Knight Frank is proud to announce that Geordie Stewart succeeded in reaching the summit of Mount Everest.
Upon conquering Everest Geordie became the youngest Briton to complete the 7 summits challenge, which required him to scale the highest mountain on each continent.
To complete the 7 Summits Challenge climbers must have possess bravery, skill and unswerving self belief. In March 2010, these qualities were tested to the limit during Geordie's first attempt to scale the world's highest mountain. He got to within 120m of the summit of Mount Everest, when two teammates fell seriously ill with altitude sickness. Acutely aware that human life is infinitely more important than the summit of a mountain, Geordie helped his teammates safely back down the mountain.
Geordie's climb has raised a substantial sum of money for RNLI. Knight Frank are proud to have sponsored such a determined, ambitious and brave individual.
