Houses and flats for sale in Victoria

Our office opened in 2016 to cater for the surge in demand for property in SW1. Known primarily as a transport hub and government administrative district, new developments and an ongoing £4 billion regeneration scheme has transformed this tired pocket of central London, attracting a new type of resident in search for a solid investment in a prime location.

Victoria and Westminster areas have benefited from a wealth of new residential developments including the luxury Kings Gate, No. 1 Palace Street, the Courthouse, Abell and Cleland and Nova building which dovetail adjoining landscaped squares and passages.

And catering to those that live, work and play in SW1’s renaissance – the ‘New Victorians’ - are retail and entertainment spaces including Cardinal Place and Nova Food, which house some of the world’s trendiest restaurants and luxury brands.

This regeneration does not only apply to new builds but is also being administered to existing old service buildings such as Scotland Yard, as well as to the Victoria Railway Station. But it’s not all about ‘out with the old in with the new”. The West Victoria area is subtly preserving its historic value by tastefully combining modernised buildings with old historic structures such as Westminster Cathedral.

Along with new homes there are pockets of period properties for re-sale such as handsome red brick Edwardian mansions blocks that tick boxes for those that prefer the traditional over new homes.

Generally buyers in Victoria area are looking for a good value address whilst still enjoying the prestige of a central London postcode. By providing modern lateral living with unique views, excellent transport links to the City and Canary Wharf and a plethora of local amenities - Victoria and Westminster is indisputably a great choice for investment.

Living in Victoria

Once the premise of tourists, commuters and civil servants, Victoria had the location, the postcode and the prestigious neighbours but little by way of glamour. All this has changed.

Why Victoria? Location and transport links could not be better. Bookended by Westminster to the East, Pimlico to the South and Belgravia to the West residents have some of London's most affluent areas on their doorstep as well as leafy parks, historic buildings and, of course, Buckingham Palace.

London's transport system clusters around Victoria which serves as a gateway to Gatwick airport, South London, Kent and beyond as well as key London business districts such as the West End and The City. There's virtually nowhere in London as well connected.

Along with the high-end developers, tech giants and creative start-ups have also injected much needed vitality and excitement into SW1. Microsoft and Google's London headquarters are now based in trendy offices on Buckingham Palace road and, catering to a new breed of office workers and ' New Victorian', the fashionable shops, restaurants and bars have followed hot on the heels of an affluent new demographic. Victoria is likely to be redeveloped further in the future paving the way for a Silicon-roundabout-meets-luxury-living in SW1.

Residents who would once have hurried past the grim coach station and the throngs of confused tourists can now enjoy a 'destination' place - one of the capital's brightest new contenders for designer living nestled among the historical facades of London's most well-known addresses.
