Developing land in and around Milton Keynes

The Milton Keynes development team covers the East and South Midlands as well as Western Anglia. Their client base is wide ranging from the public sector, charities and private individuals to private and PLC house-builders, funds and corporate bodies. Tailored advice coupled with the ability to understand our clients’ aims and aspirations clearly matched with detailed market knowledge and experience allows us to provide development solutions across the board.

The team is headed by Simon Proctor MRICS with nearly 20 years’ experience in the region working both in the private sector as well as client side.  This strong background enables Simon to understand and manage the pressures of development land to ensure the best outcome for Knight Frank’s clients.

Development Land Valuations

As an RICS Registered Valuer and with an Expert Witness accreditation from Cardiff University, Simon Proctor is ideally placed to undertake Red Book Valuations, viability appraisals in support of planning applications or Section 106 negotiations or indeed provide more specialist expert advice both at inquiry or as part of litigation negotiations or process.

Development Land Agency

The team advises on acquisitions and disposal of land for development; be it with planning permission or without, subject to conditions or unconditional, by way of a promotion agreement or an option agreement, managing the process to maximise the value of the site at every stage.

Development Land Consultancy

The team is able to offer expert opinion and insight with regard to development land consultancy be that project managing of the planning process or indeed working together with the other consultants as an integral part of the client team.  Strategic land is a particular strength with many thousands of houses being managed through the planning process together with hundreds of acres of potential development land.
