South Gloucestershire borders the north and north east of Bristol and is a major transport hub where the M4/M5 motorways meet. There are a number of sought after villages within 30 minutes’ drive of Bristol. They include Chipping Sodbury, Wickwar, Tockington, Falfield, Codrington, Doddington, Tetbury, Olveston and Alveston. Cribbs Causeway Regional Shopping Centre is within a short drive from most villages. Sporting amenities include Golf clubs at Cotswold Edge (Wotton-under-Edge), Stinchcombe Hill and Thornbury. There are lovely walks of nearly 100 miles along the Cotswold Way with views from the Cotswold Enscarpment and, fishing on the Little Avon River.
