The Chew Valley is a much sought after area of Bath & North East Somerset between Bristol and Bath. Bristol is about 11 miles, Bath about 15 miles and Wells about 10 miles. The area covers miles of stunning and undulating countryside with a number of chocolate box villages and hamlets. Most notably the Chew Valley is known for its lake which is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty just north of the Mendips Hills. There are four fly fishing lakes in the Chew Valley namely Chew Valley Lake, Blagdon, Litton and the Barrows.
