Knight Frank Research was commissioned to undertake a comprehensive review of the Central London office market for a new contra cyclical investment fund. The project provided a historical trend analysis of the capital's major office nodes since the 1980s and projections of their future performance, identifying opportunities for the client. Additional statistical support has been given to the client since the completion of the original report including the updating of forecasts and sub-market specific data sourcing.

Subject: Occupier Targeting - Major Central London Developer.

Knight Frank provides ongoing support to a major Central London developer in the targeting of potential occupiers for pre-construction and existing build leasing opportunities. Services include the identification and profiling of business sectors as well as specific occupier profiling - providing information on current office commitments, financial status, key contacts and business developments.

A major investment fund instructed Knight Frank to provide historic data on the West End office market with the information to be updated on a quarterly basis. The project cover each of the West End's submarkets, with detailed information provided on the quality of accommodation available and transacted on, the monitoring of demand, sub-market rental movement development completions and construction levels.

To undertake a comprehensive review of the Sheffield office market which also included the preparation of a future strategy for the area focussing on specific growth sectors. In addition two publications, both funded by the client, have been produced which has further increased the city's profile with key occupiers, investors and developers. Knight Frank was commissioned to place a major business park in its local, regional and national context in terms of economic and property market conditions. The study also involved forecasting future economic conditions with a number of scenarios, based on different economic and property assumptions, being tested.
