Patrick Clifton joined Knight Frank in 2005 as an Associate in the Birmingham Office from Birmingham City Council. An Australian, Patrick has been working in Birmingham for over three years and has over 8 years experience of both local government and the private sector in the UK and Australia. Patrick has experience in bringing forward development sites from initial appraisal, through progression of development strategy to project implementation.
Patrick worked as a town planner in Cairns, Australia, where he was involved in a number of large coastal mixed use development schemes for both the private and public sector. Since relocating to Birmingham he has worked on a number of city centre residential and commercial schemes, including the redevelopment of the Arcadian Centre and Attwood House on New Street and a number of major residential schemes in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter for Birmingham City Council.
Recent experience with Knight Frank LLP includes development appraisals of various sites in the Midlands, Derbyshire and the South East and the preparation and submission of applications for major residential proposals. He has recently been instructed to provide planning advice for the promotion of a major mixed use regeneration scheme in Digbeth, Birmingham and is involved in the promotion of major housing and mixed use schemes in Walsall and Dudley.
