Andy is Partner at Knight Frank’s Manchester office and heads a team responsible for planning consultancy across the North West of England.
He has over 16 years experience of town planning in the public and private sector. His expertise lies in residential and commercial planning, including: strategic planning appraisals; planning applications and appeals; master planning advice; development plan representations; site searches for national retail and house builders; retail studies for public and private clients. He is currently involved in a variety of high profile schemes, including residential development at Worsley Boatyard, and mixed-use tall building proposals on the Liverpool Waterfront.
Major recent successes include: securing planning permission in Wrexham and Bury for large residential developments despite employment land constraints; and securing approval for a 14 storey mixed use tower in Bootle town centre despite design and housing supply constraints.
