Knight Frank has grown over many decades to become one of the world's
largest and most successful residential and commercial property consultancies,
yet remains a wholly independent concern. It is owned and managed by 46 working
Proprietary Partners and operates without pressure from a plc board or external
shareholders.
Accordingly, the Partners are free to pursue policies which have brought Knight
Frank sustained success and an international reputation for probity and
professionalism, and to continue fostering a distinctive corporate culture -
one which helps attract talented people to the firm and is a major factor
behind a consistently low staff turnover.
It is a culture of inclusiveness, of personal encouragement, of recognising the
value of each and every member of staff, and of promoting the
cross-fertilisation of abilities and resources. It starts at the Senior
Partner's office, where an open door attests to a spirit of accessibility and
approachability. Indeed, all Partners go out of their way to be hands-on
members of the wider team, fully involved in the everyday action and readily
available for meetings and impromptu ideas-swapping with colleagues at all
levels.
