Recruitment
Knight Frank’s culture is that of inclusiveness, personal encouragement, recognising
the value of each and every member of staff, and promoting the cross-fertilisation
of abilities and resources.
It starts at the Senior Partner's office, where an open door attests to a spirit
of accessibility and approachability. All Partners go out of their way to be hands-on
members of the wider team, fully involved in the everyday action and readily available
for meetings and impromptu ideas-swapping with colleagues at all levels.
Developing potential
Knight Frank enjoys a consistently low turnover of staff, with many people choosing
to remain with the firm for years or even decades. One reason is our commitment
to personal development, with a highly supportive career framework offering tailored
training to enable all employees to maximise their own potential. Another is the
rewarding Knight Frank lifestyle, which encourages participation both in professional
contexts and in social and charitable activities.
The culture
We are consummately professional in everything we do. We have a culture of inclusivity,
encouragement and teamwork, and we create a congenial and stimulating working environment.
It spills over into a variety of out-of-hours activities, some charitable, others
sporting and social. Our work ethic adds up to a constantly interesting and rewarding
lifestyle.
Training and development
Our Training department designs and adapts a programme to suit the changing needs
of each employee. Training is given in a number of different ways, from formal APC
Graduate Training leading to a professional qualification such as Chartered Surveyor,
to one-on-one executive coaching. In addition, group courses are conducted by in-house
and external trainers on a range of subjects, including:
- Effective Business & Report Writing
- Financial Awareness
- Negotiating Skills
- Managing Client Relationships
- Teamwork
- Time Management
