Jeremy acts on behalf of a wide range of companies, financial institutions, government agencies and county and district councils, frequently advising on strategic property initiatives for new developments and rationalising property holdings.
Over the last two decades he has provided specialist property consultancy, town planning and development advice in connection with the redevelopment of numerous hospital sites for Health Authorities and Health Trusts, coordinating large scale master planning in respect of many of these sites. He has considerable experience in preparing development appraisals, location studies and analysis for organisations and has extensive knowledge and experience in land assembly, development funding and joint venture schemes. Jeremy also advises acquiring authorities and claimants on compulsory purchase and compensation advice, giving evidence in the Lands’ Tribunal on property valuation matters.
Jeremy also provides advice to private sector clients seeking grants for urban renewal and regeneration projects. His work covers the preparation of planning applications, development briefs, planning appeals and public inquiries. Recently, he has been involved with a number of large housing proposals in the Growth Areas. These include the preparation of impact studies and environmental assessment where appropriate together with planning gain negotiations.
He also undertakes research on development related topics, including the DCLG, BPF, CBI, RICS, HBF, GLA, GOL, LDA and TfL.
