Cirencester

Cirencester is a thriving market town in the heart of the Cotswolds. Alec Clifton Taylor said of The Cotswolds: “It is English architecture at its most English and Cirencester is the self-proclaimed capital.” A Gloucestershire town with a fascinating Roman heritage, Cirencester is surrounded by the Bathurst Estate with its 3,000 acre park while also enjoying all the benefits of a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants.

The Cotswolds is renowned for its gentle hillsides and honey coloured limestone buildings. Bounded in the north by the spa town of Cheltenham, the area includes larger market towns, famous for their shops, such as Stow on the Wold, Moreton-in-Marsh and Tetbury together with many hidden villages. Good communications with excellent rail and road links to London and Birmingham, beautiful countryside and a number of excellent private schools for all ages are just some of the attractions for people moving into the area.
