Bristol Local Information
Return to Bristol Home
Bristol is a thriving and growing city, often viewed as the gateway to the West Country, and not without reason. It enjoys some of the best transport links in the UK, being situated on the junctions of the M5 and M4 and excellent rail links to London, the Midlands, Wales and The West.
Within its boundaries, the city is famous for its diverse range of architecture, from the warm glow of Georgian and Regency townhouses, to contemporary apartment buildings on the recently developed floating harbour reflecting the city’s maritime heritage. There are many open spaces, and The Downs enjoy some 400 acres of public parkland, overlooked by substantial Victorian villas.
The lifestyle is modern and bustling, from the eclectic array of boutique shops in Clifton Village to the larger shopping centres of Cribbs Causeway, and the new developments at Broadmead. Education is a key to Bristol’s success, with some of finest private schools in England; from Millfield in Street to Clifton College in Bristol and secondary schools such as the soon to be opened Redland Green and Elmlea primary school.
With extensive coverage across NE and NW Somerset, South Gloucestershire and Bristol city, we are happy to answer and help with any queries you may have regarding both property matters and the excellent area that we cover.
